CCEE1431
It's a new month and we have a new hostess, Amber Hillman, who has challenged us to make a card having some object or animal you might see at a County Fair or 4-H. The colors for 4-H is green, so you get extra points for using it.
My experiences with County Fairs involved gardeners, farmers, homemakers, etc. bringing, out some of their finest products from their efforts like vegetables, fruits, quilts, cakes, pies, canned vegetables, etc. Seeing all those blue ribbons and best of the show, I am sure were always a badge of pride for their efforts. So, on this basket of strawberries I gave a blue ribbon. I did not get the bonus points, but used those great American colors of red, white and blue as those are the three top colors of ribbons given. County Fairs seem so Americana.
Check out all the County Fair Fun over at CCEEStampers.

Love the red white & blue theme, first prize winner for sure.
We have some fabulous county fair memories, don't we? Love your wonderful gingham and strawberries design!!
We need to make a trip back to Angleton for the fair some October soon!
Yum!!! Yep, gotta count those farm products! Love the red/white/blue and that wonderfully colored image, Liz!
A blue-ribbon winner! I like the red gingham ribbon -- very "country-looking."
Those strawberries look like prize winners for sure. Love the color scheme and the addition of the blue ribbons!
ah...the deeelish delights of a country fair....and strawberries are among the sweetest...good thinkin'
Delightful!! The addition of the blue ribbon is priceless! This had country fair all Over it! ❤️
I'd agree that fairs seem very American to me. (Here we have the Horse Show and Spring Show in Dublin, but there's not as much going on at them. They don't have the midway aspect that I see in films like State Fair or even Charlotte's web). So I think you've captured Amber's challenge perfectly with this, green or no green.
You really captured a country fair look! Love that gingham!
