I am so excited about finding this challenge and am so honored that my card was selected last week as one of the top five. I have used another Mark's Finest Paper set this week too. This is one of my absolute favorites. I used my cuttlebug seashell diecut to embellish this card in a clean and simple way! I love one layer cards so I choice to stamp my image directly onto my cardbase. I used my bamboo stalk Memento pad for my little touch of green. I sponged soft sky by Stampin' Up for my sky and put a little pumpkin pie onto a dauber to make my sun. A few copics added a little color to the palm tree. Hope this brings everyone a pleasant summer memory. I live near the Gulf of Mexico so the oil spill is of great concern to me as it will certainly effect the wildlife in our area, and wanted to use this card to remind people of the coastal beauty that needs to be protected.
