Penny Black 208
This week's Penny Black challenge is to use metal. I have had these metal flowers for a long time and since my goal this year is to use up some of the stashed stuff in my stamping room. So along with these corduroy brads, they make up the metal on this card. I also cuttlebugged this Sizzix embossing folder for the texture and used my copics for the cute frog image. You can find the PB challenge here.

Sensational Saturday #13
The Sensational Saturday sketch challenge was to use vintage fashions and shabby chic. I love this blog site:
Freevintagedigistamps@blogspot.com
They have such wonderful vintage images and seemed perfect for this challenge. I added some diecut pieces up the side, added buttons and taffeta ribbon. My perfect little bow is a result of my fabulous Becca's Bowmaker which is a great tool for any stamproom. I colored the image with copic markers.

My roses are just loading every bush at my house. I have really enjoyed spring with all the rain we have gotten for these roses to flourish. I thought this lace challenge over at Flourishes was just the embellishment to go with these pretty roses from Flourishes. I embossed the pink pirouette cardstock with my cuttlebug folder and added the lace and bow with paper roses. Mother's Day is just around the corner and I think this will make a lovely card for Mom.

MMSC43
This sketch is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #43.
This is a sneak peek at a new stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers called Spring Roses. The papers I used are from Mark's Finest Papers except for the back. I used some of Faith's white organdy ribbon that I colored with my copic marker to get it the color I wanted it to be. I just love my copic markers because they do amazing things like this. Be sure to stop by over on Mark's Finest Papers to see all the new things Faith keeps offering.
