Color Dare #69

I did two cards this week because I thought the card with the rose was a little overpowering. So I did the other card with less of the tempting turquoise and bermuda bay. The colors this week are crushed curry, tempting turrquoise, and bermuda bay. I used Stampin' Up sets  for both cards. I did a reverse embossing technique for the rose card and inked it with bermuda bay. The card on the left I colored my white organdy ribbon with my BG13 copic marker so it would match my card. I wasn't sure if everyone is aware that copic markers are very versatile and will color ribbons, brads, and jewels to match your embellies to your card.

Color Dare 65

These colors this week were so fun. They are baja breeze, pumpkin pie, ruby red, and kiwi kiss.

The stamps I used are from  Mark's Finest Papers, the light blue paper is colorcore cardstock "Vintage Collection. I embossed it and then sanded it. I added primas and brads along with this green vine trim.

Color Dare #62

This week's colors are ruby red, baja breeze, and whisper white. I pulled out an old Stampin' Up wheel for this. I cuttlebugged the stars onto the baja breeze panel. I used some gold cardstock to paper piece the medals and as the frame around the stamped images. The "Congratulations" is from the SU set Well Scripted. This week's challenge colors are pretty in pink, green galore, and basic black.

I used Stampin' Up sets for this card and my Martha Stewart corner punch.

Color Dare Challenge #57

I am so looking forward to spring this year. Springtime in Texas is just one of our prettiest seasons. I love this stamp from Deadbeat Designs with some of Texas' best known cities and towns that I found in a great little stamp store in Salado, Texas a couple of years ago. I cuttlebugged the star background and I stamped the bluebonnet and Indian paintbrush with a retired Stampin' Up set that I adore.
I used markers to color the ink onto the rubber and used the fun "huff and puff" method (or that's what I call it). The leaves stamp is a Studio G stamp from Michael's great collection of $1 stamps a while back.

Color Dare #56

This card is for the color dare challenge for this week. It is a beautiful combination of rich razzleberry, pale plum, tempting turquoise, and black. My papers are from Stampin' Up and my stamps are from Paper Trey Ink. I used an EK paper border punch and also my cuttlebug for this card. Color Dare #54

Today's Color Dare Challenge was inspired by this photo. The colors make use of some of the retired "in" colors from Stampin' Up: Pacific Point (Brillant Blue), Baja Breeze (Bashful Blue), Kiwi Kiss (old olive), Basic Gray, and whisper white. I just happen to stash some of those back because Baja Breeze just happen to become my favorite of blues. I stamped with Pacific Point and Baja Breeze these 3 steps multilayered butterflies from Kitchen Sink Stamps.I was inspired by the butterflies from the inspiration picture so I thought these butterflies would be great to use with these colors. The primas were added to go along with the butterfly and flower theme. Hope you join us today and link your challenge cards over on the Color Dare's Mr. Linky.

Hope you join us in the fun for the color dare challenge this week: old olive, only orange, chocolate chip, and brocade blue. I cuttlebugged the chocolate chip card base and then added the punched orange panel. The white panel was stamped with  a past season's sellabration stamp from Stampin' Up. Color Dare #50

How excited I was to get an email from Riley telling me I would get to join the Color Dare Team! I have been doing many of these wonderful challenges for some time now, and I look forward to working with these wonderful, talented ladies! The  Color Dare challenge for this week is Creamy Caramel, Bermuda Bay, and Ruby Red. I cuttlebugged the ruby red and bermuda bay pieces. The stampset I used is from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I don't seem to do very many cards that can be for men, but I think this set lends itself to cards for any gender.
