Combining challenges

I don't do this very often, but here it is Wednesday and I am behind on many of the challenges I like to take part in. So, this is for the Make My Mondays Challenge making use of green and yellow. I also used flowers for today's CBC #170 challenge. And I used the sketch for today's Splitcoaststampers Sketch challenge. I also wanted to make use of this beautiful orchid stamp that I got last week and have not had the time to ink up until today. I have had one happy day of stamping. For me, that is one of those mental health days I do for myself and my sanity. KWIM?? The design papers I used are from Basic Grey.

Three fabulous challenges

I don't usually roll one card into 3 challenges but today I did. This is for the CQC188 challenge of using sage, saffron, coral, blush, and white, the CBC #169 challenge to do a Mother's Day card, and the Word Art Wednesday scripture for today. For the Creative Bellie challenge I pulled out some little diamond shaped ruby colored gemstones (although they look black in this photo) to look like the rubies mentioned in the scripture. I used my nestabilitiies to cut the shapes, I sponged the white shape masking it with the diecutter. I inked the embossed blush background with so saffron ink.

Valentine Making

Valentine cards are my favorites to make. I love Christmas cards too, but that is always such a busy time of the year! I enjoy the slower pace of February so here is one more Valentine for 2013. This one is for my oldest grandaughter, Taylor, who is in her first year of college. I loved how this one turned out. Hope to make a few more to send some friends. It's getting down to the wire!!! Think I will enter this into the Creative Bellie Challenge, which was to make use of rhinestones.

WAW56 and CBC157

I'm using this card for two challenges: Word Art Wednesday and the Creative Belli Challenge.
I stamped repeatedly with a stamp from Inkadinkado and I used the scripture that Word Art Wednesday shared this week. The cross stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs. Although they blend with the colors I used on the cross, there were rhinestones added to the cross as well.
