I stamped a few leaves and a sentiment from Verve on this card. The design papers are from My Mind's Eye. The embossing folder is from Sizzix.

MOJO 265

Loved this sketch for MOJO Monday today, so I got out my Verve stamps and some Spellbinder diecuts to use for this card. I embossed the black paper with an embossing folder then attached the frames and the stamped panel. I stamped this Verve flower and colored it with  a red copic marker. The leaves are punched from a Martha Stewart punch.

MOJO Monday 137

MOJO Monday over at Verve always helps me get my stamping week started. This stamp is my newest one from Verve in my collection of their stamps. I hit the scrap pile for the striped dp which was left over from a stamping club project. I really liked the way soft suede cardstock looked with these colors. I colored my image with my copics.

MOJO Monday 135

I used the set from Mark's Finest Papers called Spring Breeze for today's Mojo Monday sketch. The card base is hazelnut tan from Mark's Finest Papers as is the ribbon. I used a scrap of design paper and a scrap of Basic Grey design paper for the card and also SU's basic black. I colored the image with my copic markers. I stamped the image and sentiment with Memento's Tuxedo black.

MOJO MOnday 134

This card is for the Mojo Monday sketch. I used a piece of Basic Grey design paper to inspire the colors and other elements of my card. The punch is my freebie from Stampin' Up from Salebration. The sentiment is also Stampin' Up.
Using some of my retiring barely banana and apricot appeal on this card as well as dusty durango. The cardbase is pretty in pink.

It's Mojo Monday and I just had to get one done as I have missed a few Mondays lately. Love this quote of Oprah's on this stamp from Verve.

MOJO Monday #124

I used my favorite set from Verve to make this card for the Mojo Monday challenge today. There are so many in need of prayers this day. I need to make at least a dozen of these. I used a little rhinestone cross to attach to the middle of the cross. The bermuda bay looks so pretty with the starkness of the white, I think! The skinny strip and the scalloped circle are made with design paper from Jen Wilson's 29th Street Market. The prima was already a print and I added another rhinestone for the center. The white card base was cuttlebugged with the hearts folder. I had it left from some extra parts left over from supplies for a card club.

MOJO 123

This is a little card for Mojo Monday Challenge 123. It was a choice of either a square or circle card. I used my verve stamps and some design paper scraps left from previous cards. One of those flowers is actually a part of the design paper and I added the other two and then put a rhinestone in the center of each.

MOJO Monday 120

I just loved the colors that were in the Basic Grey's Original collection. The verse is from VERVE, and the papers are from SU and Paper Trey. Mark's Finest Papers had this fabulous Basic Grey. I used my  Martha Stewart border punch and my nestabilities. I thought this vine was the perfect substitution for the ribbon and that prima just seemed to be in the right colors to fit right in.

MOJO Monday #119

I thought this was a perfect sketch to highlight a scripture. This stamp is from Verve and the papers are from Paper Trey Ink and Stampin' Up. I also used some design papers from my scrapbox. My new year's resolution is to keep my scraps more organized and make use of all that I can. It will help me be GREEN and it will help me save money!!!
Keep the faith as spoken of in this message from Hebrews, and may your 2010 be full of HOPE!

Mojo Monday Challenge #118

This was a quick card that I made for the MOJO Monday Challenge #118.I used papers from the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection and Stampin' Up cardstock: pretty in pink, soft sky (my stash is dwindling--sniff, sniff) and riding hood red. The poinsettia is a premade embellishment. The border punch is a Martha Stewart, the queen of crafts. The stamp is from Stampin' Up. I'm down to those last minute cards and this being a wonderful sketch for the quick and pretty, I gave it my ten minute limit on my time schedule today. Hope everyone is welcoming Christmas into their hearts and that the world can see the difference that makes!!! God bless you and yours this Christmas season.

MOJO Monday 115

I let this pretty design paper from Basic Grey lead me in the colors and image to use for this challenge. Sometimes I start with the image, but this time I let the paper lead the way. I love this little set from Verve, and I think the thank you stamp was a thank you gift with a Verve order. I love those companies that send a little stamp as a way of saying thanks for the order!! Pretty in pink and old olive cardstock was used along with the design papers.

MOJO Monday on a Tuesday!

A day late with this challenge, but I loved this layout. This leopard print I've used on a few cards this past week and I still had some left so put it on this card. I love it with red. I used Verve's Dr. Suess quote on this for fun and the edges are made with a verve stamp as well.

It's MOJO Monday!

This is for MOJO #109. Today's challenge in my stamp room is to organize my scrapboxes. They are about to overtake me. It's time to fight back!!!! I made use of some of the scraps still lying on my table and put them together to make this Christmas card. I love this mistletoe from the Peaceful Wishes set from Stampin' Up. The dp is some old retired SU paper as well. Now that I am no longer a demonstrator for SU, I value my retired sets much more than I did before. At a stamp swap this weekend, someone who is an SU customer said, I love my retired sets and it is sad they get treated like rejects at swap meets. I had to admit that demonstrators are only interested in making things with current marketable things in the catty, but it does send a negative message. Some of the ones customers own and want to use are no longer in the catty and their cards are criticized for that. Most of the swaps I have been to lately have not been SU only ones, and don't have that attitude about them. The point of these swaps for me when I was a demonstrator was to keep my customers stamping and loving the art. If they don't keep stamping, they don't replace papers or collect more for projects they are not doing!!!!So, keep stamping, keep using all those stamps you loved when you bought them, because they will still stamp endless amounts of great cards.

MOJO Monday 107

Worked all day, and met with my stamp group tonight, so just getting around to doing this fabulous challenge. I used this Verve's verse from Romans for the focal point of my card. I just love the colors in the new Basic Grey Indian Summer pack. The embossing was done with one my new Cuttlebug folders. The cardstock is cameo coral and chocolate chip. Check out the challenge here.

MOJO Monday 105

I just love my artful elegance set from Verve so decided to use it as the background and on the circles. I used this blossom from Paper Trey for the main image and paper pieced the leaf with design paper. I used regal rose, melon mambo, riding hood red, and SU razzleberry lemonade paper. My copic markers added the color to the blossom. I used a light pink ribbon to go across the top section of the circles.

Going through my Christmas stamps, I found this favorite retired set from Stampin' Up. I colored it with my copics and added the Recollection pointsettia embellishment. The striped paper is from Basic Grey figgy pudding.

MOJO Monday 103

It's Mojo Monday and it's challenge 103!! I used one of my favorite Verve sets on today's challenge. I used pieces of Basic Grey from the lemonade pack. I also used a hoarded piece of soft sky from SU. It's too bad they retired that fabulous color. I never have understood why SU doesn't just expand their color line to 100 colors. What is so unique about the 48??Introduce the new "in" colors, and then just add them to the collection. Any artist loves a full palet of colors to work with, I think, but then that's just my opinion and I haven't made much money with my opinion yet!! LOL
