This is for this week's Wordart Wednesday challenge using their Isaiah scripture. and for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge to use blue and green. The zinnias are from a Flourish stamp set. FTTC217 wedding bliss

The theme of the FTTC challenge this week is a wedding card. I love embossed white or ivory paper because it just looks so elegant. I added some pretty lace trim and a glittered design paper for the matting for the image piece. These cherry blossoms from Flourishes are one of my favorite of their stamps. I used copic markers for the coloring.

The challenge for Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge was to double up on the ribbons.I used this lily of the valley stamp from Flourishes to repeat stamp for the design of this card. The edge of the image has a houndstooth pattern to it, so I used that same pattern to emboss the background cardstock.

Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge is to make a spring card. I love the tulips in the spring and this set from Flourishes is one of the first I purchased from them. I loved it then, and I love it still.

I crimped the close to cocoa paper for this card, embossed the right edge, and stamped this spring image of cherry blossoms for the focus of this card. The stamps are from Flourishes and  the embossing folder is from Darice.The image is colored with copic markers. The lace added an elegant touch to this simple card.

I love the Timeless Tuesday Challenges over at Flourishes every week. I work on Tuesdays and although I don't get these done on Tuesday very often, I try my best to participate every week. This week the challenge was RED, one of my favorite colors to work with. Lately I have been having fun stamping one layer cards, using mostly stamping for the card. For this one layered card I pulled out two of some old favorites of mine from Flourishes. I sponged part of the front and then used these silhouetted tulips and for the other side I stamped some pretty red lace.

A quick masculine card making use of a Flourishes background map stamp and a sentiment appropriate for this card. The challenge was to use a heart. The dp is from Basic Grey.

This card is for the FTTC 206 challenge this week. I used up some stashed dp from Stampin' Up. I am bound and determined to get some of these old supplies in use and moving off my shelf. KWIM?? This is a stamp from Flourishes and I colored the image with my copic markers. These are colors I don't use so often, but I do like the way they turned out on these flowers.

 The challenge I choice to repeat is one that I didn't have time to do the week it was going: THINK PINK
#189. I used this lace stamp from Flourishes to stamp in ladybug red ink and Flourishes beautiful rose stamp that I colored with copic markers. The design paper is from Basic Grey. FTTC is one of my favorite of my weekly challenges and this year I plan to take part in more of them. I just love all of my Flourish stamps, especially my floral one designed by Marcella Hawley.

Today is Tuesday and time to take part in the Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge, which was to make the image fall off the card. I masked some shells from a Flourishes set that I stamped off the edge of the paper. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread. I don't usually mix stamps for these challenges but this one just seem to fit with the shells so well. This is a one-layer card.

Father's Day FTTC173

The Flourishes Terrific Tuesday challenge was to make a Father's Day card. I used this set because of the powerful sentiments that are with it. I stamped the background card base with the antique map and sponged on some color faintly. I popped the front panel up, so I guess it really qualifies for both the challenges going on over at Flourishes this week. It's a sneak peek week over there and what beautiful things there are to see.
Just thought I'd try to join in on  some of the fun!!

For this week's Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge, we were to use a butterfly. These little butterflies I used are a Creative Memories mini punch that is one of my favorite punches. I also used some of my newest spellbinder shapes and border to this card as well. The cherry blossom stamp is of course, from Flourishes. I always try to support the company whose challenge it is by using one of their stamps. The background cardstock is SU always artichoke. The white pieces are from my scrap pile.
I used some sparkle gel pen for the centers of the blossoms. The little sparkle doesn't show up in the photo so much, but I liked what it seem to add to the card.

When it comes to picking a favorite stamp set from Flourishes, it really is too difficult to do because I love all of my Flourishes sets. But I do love silhouettes and these sweet silhouettes of children are so adorable. I stamped this in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto glossy white paper. I sponged on the colors for the setset behind the silhouette with various Memento inks. So I did this card for the FTTC challenge this week and the Belli challenge to use children. I got out some old big grommets to add to the card to make use of some items in my stash.

This week's FTTC

Tammy, the host of the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge challenged us to use a flag or banner on our card. I pulled out this terrific set from Flourishes to make a card for a friend. I used olive and purple cardstock, as well as white and pale green (on the flag). The image was stamped with tuxedo black Memento ink and then colored with my copic markers. I added the gold domes around the Spellbinder diecut shape. I used a different Spellbinder shape to diecut the image. The purple cardstock was embossed with a Paper Studio embossing folder.

I just love these seashells by Flourishes. Masking is such a perfect technique to use with them. Since Dee Jackson's has a limited challenge this week for Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge of no embellishments being allowed, I just had to let the stamping bring out the real beauty of the card. This grouping of shells remind me of the many treasures that wash ashore adding their own beauty to the sandy shore.

I added a little sparkle gel pen to some of the shells but the photo doesn't show that too well. I did some simple scoring at the bottom of the card. I stamped the image with Palette Noir black ink and colored with copic markers.

CWC010 and FTTC73

This sketch is the challenge over at the CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge. The challenge this week over at Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge was to use fruit, so I thought when I decided to use this ribbon it would be perfect for both challenges. Summer and strawberries just seem like a perfect combo as well.
I used a Martha Stewart border for the red accent for the card. I love this light green paper that I think is from PTI.

The Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge was a sketch challenge hosted by Silke.
Since she is in my group of favorite stampers, I just had to do this challenge. I decided that if I could make one of the many challenge cards I do during the week a Christmas card, I could get my cards done a little bit at a time and wouldn't have to do so many when Christmas gets here. I love this Breezy Blue cardstock from Mark's Finest Papers and it went so well with this Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection. I matched an old piece of soft sky ribbon from my stash and used my nestabilities for the ovals. I punched the holly leaves out with a Martha Stewart punch and used red rhinestones as the holly berries.

Dee Jackson is hosting the challenge this week at Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday. I got to meet Dee last September in Georgia at a Kitchen Sink workshop. What an amazing woman!! Her challenge for us was to use black, white, and any other one color. I chose a kiwi green as my color. These cherry blossoms are one of my new favorite Flourish stamps. Aren't they just beautiful?

FTTC 69

I was so excited to see the one layer card as the challenge for this week. I used Flourishes' peaches  set by stamping it three times down my card. I also embossed the pattern down the side of the ivory card. Fresh peaches are one of the best parts of summer for me. My dear grandmother would fix peaches and cream and put in her ice cube trays. Somehow those memories become more dear every year. Life was simpler but yet we drew such pleasure in those simple little things.

Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge #67

I was so pleased at the quick turn around on my latest order from Flourishes and decided to use this stamp for today's challenge. We were to use chipboard on the card. I used a chipboad circle and stamped the compass onto the circle. I used morning sun cardstock from Mark's Finest Papers and a piece of Basic Grey dp. I used   twine to lace up the side of the card. I used some of my lighter colors of Copic markers to color the map. I colored the needles on the compass with a gold gel pen.
