CCEE1447
The challenge this week is to use a photo or something to do with photography. I just had to make use of this cute House Mouse stamp. The layout was somewhat symbolic of a camera. Black with a round lens for the image and the rhinestones are for buttons or the flash.
If you choose to join us, please add your card to the link over at CCEEStampers blog and use the CCEE1447 as the keywords if downloading over at SCS.
Head right on over to see what terrific cards the DT has posted over on the blog.

HMFMC166 - Masculine
I wanted to make this an easy to mail card, as flat as possible. This is one of my cards I made as a part of my 100 cards in 100 days self challenge I have going. The goals I am trying to meet besides the 100 cards are : using up old papers and scraps from the piles in my stamping room, using images that I have had for some time, and making cards that others might be interested in purchasing. The money I make will go to the prison ministry in which I am involved and also the Women's Ministry at my church.

CAS on Sunday #19 Get Well card
I made this card for my great niece, Piper, since she has been hospitalized this week. I hope she gets to come home today and she is feeling better. Since this is a CAS challenge, I did not color the House Mouse image. Thought the band-aid made the perfect embellishment. You can find the CAS on Sunday challenge here.

This is for the House Mouse challenge using MONOCHROME as the theme. I used toffee crunch ink (Memento) and light brown papers with this. The diecut frame is from Spellbinders, and the border punch is Martha Stewart.

COF August challenge
My parents have made their Christmas cards for 63 years, so their creativity was always a big part of me and my sister, Lynn's lives, I guess it is no surprise to see us both addicted to this art form, I decided a Christmas card would be the perfect card to honor them. Thanks for inspiring creativity in us, Mom and Dad. Check out my previous post for more details.

CBC172 wedding
Hailey, my 10 year old grand daughter has spent the week with me, and it was hard keeping her out of my stamp room, so I let her color this image for me for this challenge. The button is part of my old stash and seemed perfect for this little couple. The designer paper is from my old stash of Basic Grey papers. Usually wedding cards are not this colorful, but this one is.

COF challenge for May
Jackie challenged the Crafters of Faith Blog this month to use things we love for this challenge.
I love House Mouse stamps and with this year being the year my youngest grandchild was graduating from preschool, I made this for him because he is one of the loves of my life. I attended his graduation ceremony last night, and he surprised us all by doing a solo in one of the songs his group sang. I was one proud grandma. On the way home he asked if he was good at keeping secrets. That one he kept well and until we read the program we had no idea he was going to be doing a special part. It was funny, when right after he finished he announced to everyone, "I really did well with that, didn't I?"
So, this was made for one of those milestones of life that is so precious. All of God's gifts are precious to us, but His Son was the most precious of all. "For God so loved the world, that He sent His only beloved Son..."

House Mouse weekly challenge
I have a little granddaughter celebrating her 10th birthday this week, her second week back at school. I thought this would be a cute card for her. I used primary colors because those are the basic and when you think of school days, you are minded of the basics...reading, writing, and arithmetic. Always enjoy taking part in the House Mouse challenges.

House Mouse challenge
I think this meets the requirements for the challenge going on over at the House Mouse challenge blog site. I just got this cute stamp on a clearance rack!! How lucky was that. I added a sentiment from MFP and think I will be sending this to a friend who just recently retired. I used copic markers to color this.

House Mouse tea challenge
I just love my little House Mouse collection of stamps. This is probably one of the first ones I ever bought and still remains as one of my favorites. I used some pretty Basic Grey design paper on this card and some of my Spellbinder diecuts. The sentiment is from a PTI set. This is for their current challenge going on here.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ 119
The challenge on Stampin' Sisters in Christ was to make a birthday card. I have a friend in Colorado who is celebrating a birthday on Tuesday. As you can see, it's not even in the mail yet. The inside has a slot to place a gift card that I will enclose. I hope she gets it by the end of the week. I think I will write on the inside: When life gives you too many candles, pop popcorn!!! The papers are from Stampin' Up and Basic Grey.

Stampin' Sister in Christ
A wonderful little House Mouse stamp I found in the bargain bin last week seemed perfect for this challenge. I just thought it the sweetest.
This verse from Genesis 1:26 also shows to me the relationship God wants us to have with all of His creatures and especially with each other. I made this card for a very special friend who had a double lung transplant last week. Is it not amazing how our God can take the tragedies of life and let it come forward as a miracle?
What a gift of love an organ donor gives to another!
My friend is a servant of the Lord serving in prison ministries and in our Emmaus community. The Lord still has plenty for him to do in this life! Rock on Bobby, singing your praises to the Lord.

House Mouse challenge-white on white
Today's House Mouse challenge is to use only white for card and embellishments with your house mouse image. I did a little embossing and diecutting to add a little texture and dimension. I colored the image with copics and trimmed the cup and leaves with a gelly roll stardust pen. Pearls were added to the centers of the primas.

365 challenge for the day
This is for day 128 to use a rub on, a piece of ribbon with no bow, 2 buttons, 1 piece of design paper and a sentiment inside on a 5 by 5 card.
I've been on a house mouse kick lately. The cardstock is groovy guava. The design paper is from Paper Studio, the ribbon is guava as well. I loved this speckled button I found, but I only found 1 so had to add another button altough not the same. Go to my blog to see the inside.

House Mouse weekly challenge
This is for today's House Mouse challenge. It is a sketch challenge you might want to click on and check out! I don't know about you, but I save every scrap left from any and every project and my scrap pile is about to over take me. So, My self challenge is to make myself use something from my scrap box without cutting any new larger pieces of paper. I did accomplish that with this card. That way I can enjoy all of these fun challenges in the week, and perhaps deplete the pile of paper in my stamping room. I might try sending out to go boxes of scraps to anyone who will dare to darken the door in my stamp room. What do you think?
