WT259

When I saw today's Ways to use challenge was lace, I thought of my new Flourish stampset immediately. I really had to work with it a while to get things going for this design, but I was pretty happy with the results. The pretty blue papers are from Mark's Finest Papers and so is that gorgeous blue ribbon. The lacey images were stamped in Paris Dusk memento ink. I used the Fleur de Lys Spellbinder and the scalloped oval nestabilities as the center focal point. I added a few pearls as the finishing touches.

Snotime #126

Sharon's challenge this week was to use purple and green. I love these violets from Flourishes and my favorite green to use with the violet is kiwi kiss and shades of olive. I used my copic markers to color this. My cuttlebug supplied the embossing pattern and I cut the shapes with my nestabilities.

MOJO 123

This is a little card for Mojo Monday Challenge 123. It was a choice of either a square or circle card. I used my verve stamps and some design paper scraps left from previous cards. One of those flowers is actually a part of the design paper and I added the other two and then put a rhinestone in the center of each.

FTTC#49

SilkeLedlow is the challege hostess this week for the Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge. She had us follow this great sketch. This stamp is one of my favorites from Flourishes. I do have so many that I love. These daisies are so fun to color. I used my nestabilities, my Martha Stewart punch, and my copic markers for coloring.

NoTimeToStamp Challenge---Friends

A card for a friend is always fun to make. I've wanted this stamp set from Stampin' Up for a long time just for this one stamp alone. I finally earned it with my monthly sales recently. Sharon for her weekly NoTimeToStamp Challenge this week asked for friend cards. Using a piece of some of my favorite Basic Gfey paper for the background, and placed it on an old olive card base. I'm having such fun coloring my white primas to be the colors and shades that I need for my dp. Then I don't have to buy 15 bottles of each color of prima either. There's my financial tip for the week on how to stretch your crafting dollars!!!LOL
