CCEE Number challenge

This week's challenge for CCEE was to use numbers. Since I have a few graduation cards to get sent this week, I used this cute digital from Sassy Cheryl Designs. I added a blue bow at the neck and chipboard numbers down the side. I colored the image with copic markers.  To all the graduating seniors, best wishes, and let God guide your steps and protect you on your way.

Come join us in the challenge at CCEEstampers.blogspot.com

Speedy the Cat's Blog challenge

Everytime I see this particular plaid, I think of my first school lunchbox I had over 50 years ago. It was this exact plaid, and my Grandaddy Austin had painted my entire full name diagonally across the front. "Elizabeth Ann Austin". I was so proud of it. When I ran across that scrap in my pile of design paper scraps, that memory just rushed into my brain. So, I decided that this verse, a new stamp from Mark's Finest Papers to be released next week, was perfect to put with it. Graduation is such an important time in the lives of those who are experiencing them. Sadness for parents who are reminded how quickly those years passed, happiness for the achievements of educational accomplishments, and excitement for the new life that will soon begin in a different direction. May is full of ceremonies that parents and grandparents are proud to see their offspring accomplish. Best wishes to all graduates and their families.

Kitchen Sink Challenge #25

I'm down to the wire to enter the Kitchen Sink challenge for the month, but since I already had done a few graduation cards with this graduation set from Kitchen Sink I decided to do Julie's sketch for the challenge this month. I used white paper for the card base, cuttlebugged it and used burgandy strips. The gold metallic chrome paper I used for the mat for the oval and my date circles. I used charcoal, tuxedo black, and bravo burgandy ink.

Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge #13

This is for the new Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge. Connie wanted cut out images on the entries, so I used the graduation set and the rose set to make this gradutation card. I scored the background panel with my Scor-Pal.
