CCEE1730

CCEE1730 - Walk on Stilts Day

Create a tall thin card with any theme to celebrate walk on stilts day.
Maryann Einam is our hostess this week.

My card was made with a Power Poppy digital. The wonderful thing about digital images are the ways they can be sized and placed on your card.  The peonies were colored with copic markers.

Hope you can play along with us this week. Just link your card over on the cceestampers blog site that can be found here.  Just use CCEE1730 as your keyword over on SCS.

Power Poppy's Hues to Use Challenge

This is for the new fun challenge over at Power Poppy's blog . Something about a red rose speaks All American to me. I made a stencil with the stars by punching out stars from a scrap of paper. Then I sponged  faded jeans Distress Oxide ink into the stars. I used my copics to color this wonderful digital from Power Poppy. I didn't seem to find any red, white, and blue ribbon in my stamproom, but I found this fabulous wide red and white stripe. It just seem to be the finishing touch.

Tuesday Throwdown challenge

For the Tuesday Throwdown to make use of my favorite embellishment, I used diecuts and seam binding as my favorite embellishments. The digital is from Power Poppy  and I colored it with my copic markers.

Dragonfly Journeys challenge - Bodacious bows!

I've been trying out some new challenges to put on my blog to ger a little more traffic over here. This card I made using my new digital image I got over at Power Poppy. The great thing about digitals is that since they store on your computer, they take less space than stamps, and the other advantage is that you can resize it to fit the space you want to use. I printed it onto watercolor paper, then I tried using my reinkers from my copic markers to paint the sky. I used the makers for the flowers and I also used some Chameleon markers. This is big wide ribbon for my bow. I added the pearls for the corners.

You can find this challenge on at this site .

PP Power and Sparkle November challenge

Love the Power and Sparkle challenge for November that I found over on their blogsitehttp://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/:
I love this pink and white houndstooth paper I found in the bargains at Tuesday Morning a while back. It came in handy for this Think Pink challenge theme. I used Power Poppy's holly digital and fancy cut it out to spread cross the front of my card. I love silver with pink so I added the silver metallic ribbon too. A few diecut berries I added and I popped my holly up with dimensionals. Thanks, Power Poppy for getting me well on my way to getting my cards done before November is over.

CAS on Sunday challenge #81

I did this for the CAS on Sunday challenge found here:

I went diagonally across the Bingo card to the floral, stamp, and ribbon criteria.
The floral is a digital from Power Poppy, and the sentiment is a stamp from Power Poppy.
I used copic markers for the coloring and this is on a white one layered card.
