A Vintage Journey challenge - resist

I made this card to use for two challenges. The Free for all challenge on SCS which was to make a card about friendship and the A Vintage Journey challenge to do some sort of resist technique. I used two older retired Stampin' Up stamps for the card, I inked the background stamp with versamark and then sprinkled on white embossing powdered. Then I added Ranger distress inks over it. On a seperate piece of white cardstock I stamped the image that I colored with alcohol markers and cut out. I attached it to the front.

Loving your summer themed card! That stamp set was one I coveted for so long, and ended up only using once or twice. It looks so pretty with your resist background. Thank you so much for joining us at A Vintage Journey! Hugs!
