CCEE1819 Red for Anne

Anne is our hostess for May and this week is also Anne's birthday. She loves RED so she wants us to use red on our challenge cards. This rose stamp is from Rubbernecker and of course, red roses are more than appropriate for honoring someone on their birthday, so these are for you, sweet Anne.
The sentiment is an old retired SU one, and the little speckled stamp I used is one of my favorite of retired SU stamps that I use all the time.

Another Love in the air card

Just had to make a card for this challenge with my newest stamp from Rubbernecker. My MISTI came in very handy in making use of this two step stamp. I just love roses and know this one will become one of my favorites in my collection of rose stamps.  I find the Rubbernecker challenges the most fun ones out there. AND when they pick four winners a month to receive prizes, what better motivation is there???  Love ya' Rubbernecker.

Fall challenges are fun

I made this for the F4A challenge on SCS and for A Vintage Journey's Crazy for Autumn color challenge.  I used many of my fall colors of Oxide inks for my background using a Flourish leaf set from my stamp collection. The sentiment is from Rubbernecker stamps.

Rubbernecker Anything goes Challenge #

This is one of my new stamps I got from Rubbernecker Stamps and decided to use if on their anything goes challenge this week.  Thought this was also a good way to use up some design paper scraps as well. Check out the challenge here.

Rubbernecker's Anything goes Challenge #19

This is for the Rubbernecker Anything goes Challenge #19. I used my new Rubbernecker stamp with the wine bottle and glass. I inked my embossing folder with some of my new distress oxide inks, spritzed it with water and then pressed it onto my paper.  The sentiment is from Unity.

This is for the Sisterhood Sunday challenge which was a sketch challenge this week. This is another wonderful stamp I purchased from Rubbernecker years ago, but it never seems to lose its cuteness. It is a full basket of chicks, but I cut it in half so it would fit my space for this card. The design papers are from Basic Grey, the card base is pear pizzaz by Stampin' Up. The flower punch is from Martha Stewart.

Today's challenge for Stampin' Sisterhood was this inspiration challenge. I was inspired by the colors. This image is from Rubbernecker stamps.

This week's challenge for the Rubberneck Sisterhood Sunday challenge. It has just taken me all week to find a little time in my stamp room. I used Bahama blue to stamp this Rubbernecker image. I cuttlebugged the card base and added a ribbon. It was quick, but wanted to do the challenge.

Wacky Wednesday challenge

This is for the Wacky Wednesday challenge. I only have a few of their stamps and this one happens to be flowers. I cuttlebugged the background and colored the image with my copics.

Lovely Lavender Lizards for Linda

This is for Rubberneckers Wacky Wednesday challenge that I happen to be doing on a Thursday. It was a color challenge to use lavender, pink, and purple. This lizard stamp is of course, one of my favorites from Rubbernecker Stamps so I just had to use it. Doesn't it look awesome in lavender? So Linda, I thought this alliteration was great to use for this card as well, so I entitled it Lovely Lavender Lizards for Linda!!!

Over on PaperCraftPlanet they are having an awesome 12 days of Christmas challenge. They are giving away prizes from many of the companies who are part of that website. Check it out. I haven't won anything yet, but it sure serves as a great motivational tool for me. This is one I did for the second day when you could put birds or reptiles on the card. Of course, my reptile of choice would be a lizard! I recently won $10 worth of free stamps from Rubbernecker on Joan Ervin's blog and this is one of the ones I received. This is a most unique Christmas card, don't you think???
