CCEE1809 National Pig Day

Well, here we are in March already....where does the time go???  I, Vicky Gould, will be issuing the challenges for March...hope you like them!

For Vicky's challenge: Today is "National Pigs Day"...let's see some fun pigs on our cards today.  Pinterest is loaded with them and/or there's always Old McDonald!

Here we go....this is gonna be fun!

I recently purchased this Deep Red Stamp because my sister in law loves pigs. So, I decided this little pig could be used for lots of different occasions, so for today, I added hand-drawn balloons, a party hat, and the birthday whistle. This will be  set aside for my SIL's birthday, but for today this little pig is celebrating National Pig day!! Soo-eeee!

Black and white challenges

I found these two challenges for black and white cards today. One was The Paper Girl challenge #146 and the other was Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #381.  The brick background stamp is from Deep Red, the tiny leaves from Stampin' Up, and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread. The cross is a Spellbinder die., and the flowers are a mini flower punch from Creative Memories. Worked some of my stash on this card.  I thought this was a perfect card for the Lent season and the sentiment says:
Jesus died so that we may live!

CCEEstampers 1808

Hello friends!
Kelly here from the DT with my last challenge
~ February has been great fun!

Tuesday (2/27) is Polar Bear Day.
Create a card with a polar bear(s), snow,
or use white as your card’s focal color.

Thanks, Kelly for hosting these fabulous challenges you had for us in February.
I did not have a polar bear stamp that I could find, so I went with a snowy, all white card. I embossed my white card with a Darice embossing folder, then embossed a white piece to punch out some of the snowflakes with 2 different sizes of circle punches by Stampin' Up. Then I added the sentiment and the tiny rhinestones for a little sparkle.

CCEE1807

Hi friends, Kelly is here again this week with a new challenge -
a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

The Tic Tac Toe challenge is based on this fun photo I made:

I used love theme, any critter, and sequins. I had fun using my little lizard die for the first time.
I used this Valentines card for my youngest grandson.

Hope you will stop by the cceestampers blog to see all the fabulous creations of the team, and also to play along with us. If you post your card on SCS, be sure to use CCEE1807 as your keyword.

CCEE1806

Hello friends!
Kelly is here again with a new challenge.
It's almost Valentine's Day, so this week, instead of making
 a traditional Valentine's Day card,
we're making cards showing something we love ♥

If you link up to a gallery, please use the keyword CCEE1806
or use Mr. Linky over on the CCEEStampers blogWe'd love to see what you make!

On my card I wanted to represent one of the things I love doing and that is making my own music. I am not saying it is good, but I am saying I do enjoy singing and playing music. I also am not young and thin like this image (stamp from Unity), but while I am using my imagination, I can go there with my imagination for an instant, can't I??  It is great to have a passion!!!

Another Love in the air card

Just had to make a card for this challenge with my newest stamp from Rubbernecker. My MISTI came in very handy in making use of this two step stamp. I just love roses and know this one will become one of my favorites in my collection of rose stamps.  I find the Rubbernecker challenges the most fun ones out there. AND when they pick four winners a month to receive prizes, what better motivation is there???  Love ya' Rubbernecker.

Check out the challenge here.

Rubbernecker Challenge #26

The wreath and the sentiment are two stamps from Rubbernecker that worked really well for this challenge. I am so thrilled to have won the challenges a few times to select these as my selection of stamps. I added paper punched pink hearts to make this wreath look more like Valentines day decoations. I doodled the strings and bow with a black finepoint sharpie. I added a few tiny rhinestones around the wreath to jazz it up a bit.  Rubberneckers Challenges have become one of my favorite to take part in each week and with prizes as incentives, it motivates me even more. The challenges change every 2 weeks. You can find this week's challenge HERE..

F is for farm life

I have a sister in law that loves pigs. Every card sending event in the year, I get a pig card from her. So I have been trying to come up with some pigs to retaliate with. So, when I saw that the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers' Challenge this week was to may a farm card....pigs of course came to mind.
Inside this card it is going to say.."..if pigs fly, you better look for the strings that are attached!"

Check out the fun for this challenge HERE
