Color Dare Challenge
This week's challenge is to use mambo melon, old olive, bermuda bay, and elegant eggplant. It had to be a quick card for me, so I riped a few pieces together and layered them. I stamped with old olive ink and kiwi kiss ink. I added some mini pink primas and added some purple rhinestones. The stamps are from Stampin' Up. I cuttlebugged the mambo melon piece just to add some texture. Hope you will join us in the challenge and link your card over on the Color Dare blog.

This week's colors of old olive, summer sun, and certainly celery. I thought these colors were perfect for this set from Mark's Finest Papers called Daffodils and Anise. It just seems to scream "SPRING!" I hope you will join us in this week's challenge and link your card to Mr. Linky here.

Color Dare Challenge this week:
certainly celery
Tempting turquoise
chocolate chip
white
I thought this Basic Grey dp was perfect for these colors. The stamps are a sneek peak at some of the new stamp sets being released over on Mark's Finest Papers. Tried out my new nestabilities for this card too. The butterfly was stamped on Basic Grey dp and paper pieced onto the card.

I loved these colors this week for the color dare. I did a little punching, a little embossing, and a little huffing and puffing (or that's what I call that method anyway)!! This ribbon treatment was a great way to use up some of those smaller pieces of ribbon scraps. I even added eyelets, which are also the challenge for the Belli Challenge this week. I haven't used eyelets in quite sometime. I know you can come up with something lovely with these fabulous colors so go over to the Color Dare blog to link it to Mr. Linky!!!

Color Dare #51
This is my card for the Color Dare challenge. I used my cuttlebug diecuts and my spellbinder diecuts to make the trim and frame. I used Kitchen Sink Stamps to make the rose, and Stampin' Up papers to make the card. I outlined my rose with a yellow copic marker.

Color Dare 49--God's timeless truths
I think this scripture from Romans offers up a great new year's resolution to us all. The colors for the color dare are bashful blue, cameo coral, and soft suede. I used the scripture from a Stampin' Up set and the swirl is from Verve. The flower punch is from Stampin' Up and the leaves from Martha Stewart.
I was excited to read that one of my cards for last week's color dare challenge was mentioned in the honorable mentions. I find these wonderful challenges to be very motivativing in getting my creative juices flowing. I am fortunate to have the time to do many of these and I thank the creative minds who come up with all the wonderful ideas. It takes away some of the work for me, and that saves me time to be able to make more cards. I hope you will find a new challenge of two to try this year and that you find your stamping time to be very theraputic for you as I find it to be for me. The only other thing I would add is to wait on the Lord! Trust Him in all things and claim the blessings that are yours in 2010, which are revealed to you in those faithful prayers.
