CCEE1629

Joanne is our hostess again this week. I know how she loves the ocean so it didn't surprise me to see what the challenge was for the week. I happen to love the beach too.
..

July, for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere,
is one of our warmest months.
When I think of hot days, I think of the beach.
Let’s create cards that honor beaches in some way.

If you join in, please add a link to your card in a comment.
 If posting on splitcoaststampers,
 please add CCEE1629 to keywords.

I used some of my old but favorite Stampin' Up stamps for this card this week. I love that palm tree and the seashells I used for the background stamping have always been one of my treasured sets.
I just sponged in the rest of the scene and used my circle stamp for the sun. The seagulls are made with a die I have. The beach closest to me on the Texas Gulf Coast does not have pretty blue water like some of the more popular beaches in the world, so I always love to choice these shades of blue for my beach cards and the water.

Such pretty white accents on your seashell background really tie in with your white seabirds! I love the palm tree and summer sun sky!

If we used the real color of the Texas Gulf no one would believe it! We love it anyway!!
