Pop of Pastel Challenge

I love these peonies from Power Poppy and decided to try some pastel colors that might not even be the colors these flowers bloom to be, but I used this digital to participate in the challenge going on over on the Power Poppy Blog.  I forgot to clean this embossing folder before I used it for this card base, but since the color picked up on the lavender using on one the flowers, I used it anyway.

Liz, I got a giggle out of your post....I think the best part of stamping and coloring is that in your garden, you can make your flowers any color you like and may I say, that I love the colors you used! Your card says "Spring" with a capital "S"! So glad you could play along with us at Power Poppy for the Pastel Challenge! :)

Oh, Liz, what a beautiful card, and I love the colors of your flowers! The best part about stamping and coloring is that we can make them whatever color we want. And I love the embossing (and feel a little better than I'm not the only one that does things like that). But it turned out perfect with the lavender "sponged" look! Hugs!
