The challenge this week, Frances has us doing some stenciling. I have so many brass plates for embossing (one of my other obsessive collections years ago). Although I haven't used them in years, I still have them all organized in a little picture album. I picked this one use for this challenge and I sponged the green ink. The words on the brass plate are Faith, Hope, and Charity. I did some repeat stenciling around the edges to complete this interesting background. I added the prima flowers and a diecut bow for the final touches.
Hope you join us in this challenge this week by linking your pretty creation to the link over on the CCEEstampers' blog. Please use the CCEE1515 as your keyword on SCS. Make sure you check in on the other stenciling techniques used by Frances, Lois, Vicky, Anne, Lynn, Joanne, Sabrina, Mary Ann, and Amber.

good to use some older tools from our stash, fabulous card
What a beautiful background you've created with the stencil, Liz! (Sabrina is the hostess this month)
...err, rather, Frances is hostess. Still one beautiful card!
Wonderful layering of color on your beautiful background! Perfect for this bright spring blossom! Sensational work, Liz!
What a great background you've created with the stencil. And that bow die is on my wish list!
I love all the stenciling in the bg for your flowers, and how fun to use some goodies from the past!
That background is amazing - the two colours in it are so effective. I don't know why, but the circle part makes makes me think of a sundial, somehow. The little diecut bow is also amazing looking - at first I thought it was wire!
you are a stenciling queen on this one....lovely with lots of great detail work
