Stampin' Sisters in Christ #24

Over on Stampin' Sisters in Christ's blog, the challenge was to do a card with a child on it. I love these vintage stamps from Crafty Secrets. Their children images are so sweet and innocent looking. It reflects a time when children could be children, when times were safer, and life was at a slower pace. I'm not sure what the rush is for children to grow up so quickly these days, but I grieve that too often they are robbed of the joys of their childhood. I love the stories in the Bible that speak of the innocence of children and how Jesus called them to Him. The scroll work was cut with a cuttlebug diecut (I'm sorry I don't keep up with the names of each one). My brain is way past overload. The diecut has a large tag, two beautiful borders, and a swirly medallion all on the same diecut plate (if that helps). I ordered it from Oh, My Crafts!

Very pretty card...love the image and colors so pretty. I used that scroll on a card this week also, great one. I agree everyone is shoving our lovely innocent children to hurry and grow up.

Oh, no truer words were said about the children -- I so worry about them today (more than yesterday). Your card is simply amazing -- beautiful scroll work.
