I love this set from Flourishes that have ornaments that remind me of the ornaments like we had when I was a child. We would always spend Christmas morning over at my aunt and uncle's where my aunt and grandmother had layed out all the goodies and candies they had started making weeks in advance (or so it seemed to me as we were not allowed to have any of these goodies lying around until Christmas)! The best part of Christmas for me is looking back at those 50 plus years of the past Christmases with very fond memories reflecting on the love of family! As this very special season approaches, it is my prayer that you are surrounded by those you love and if you have lost some of those close to you, that the wonderful memories of past Christmases will bring you a sense of peace and joy even in the tears!Tuesday, November 24, 2009

What a lovely card, and the heartfelt thoughts about past Christmases was so touching :) Isn't it funny how an image takes us back so long ago to those fondest of memories? Have a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving :)
