I seldom use this glorious green, as it is my least favorite color of all greens, but pulled it out for a traditional Christmas card. I stamped the pine needles with cottage ivy (Memento) and the ornament in Versamark and then covered it with gold embossing powder. I embossed the green card base with one of the new larger cuttlebug folders. I used some ribbon and a flock covered tree brad for my embellishments. A Martha Stewart punch was used on the real red panel, with green rhinestones to add a little sparkle.

I agree with you that glorious green is not a favorite but you made it work so well. I saw on your profile that you love the book, "I will love you forever" Did you know that Taylored Expressions has a stamp with a quote from that book? It is one of my favorites, too.
Simply beautiful - Liz!! The gold embossing is so pretty..perfect holdiday card!!!
Thanks for playing today!!! Hugs ~S~
PS - Did you see I finally played your award...sorry it took me forever :(
That shade of green is my least favorite, too. But it works well on your Christmas card, Liz. I like your little Christmas tree addition to the ribbon. Very cute!
So pretty, love the traditional colors and the ornament.
Beautifully done, Liz!!! Wonderful design and details! Thanks for playing FTTC!!!
