I love challenges. Why? Because they always get the mojo going!!The challenges already do some of the planning for you either by supplying the sketch or the colors. That takes some of the thinking and deciding out of it for me, which also saves a lot of time. This card is for the Stamp and Smile Sketch Challenge this week. I found it listed on the Daily Dare site. When you are in a stamping slump, check these sites out. They are fun, sometimes they are awarding prizes even, and acquainting you with new stampers. What have you got to lose???

Color Throw Down #47

This is for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge of kiwi kiss, cameo coral, and tempting turquoise. I colored my white pearls with my copic marker to color coordinate them to match. The rose is from Flourishes and the background stamp is from Stampin' Up. The rose is colored with copic markers, and the leaves are stamped onto kiwi kiss and then hightlighted with a copic marker.

I let a scrap of Basic Grey design paper determine the colors for this card. This set is new from Stampin' Up and to be available in their new catalog coming out soon. The sketch is from this week's Midnight Madness Sketch challenge.

Flying Proud

With yesterday, June 14th being Flag Day, and July 4th a couple of weeks away, I'm in a red, white, and blue mood. I just love our little ace here flying high and proud. This is a cute digital image from Digital Stamp Oasis. You will want to check out all the cute images you will find there.

Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge #14

I cut up an old acrylic box and ran it through my cuttlebug and this is how it looks when it comes out the other side. I stamped the KS apple and placed it behind the clear panel. I thought this is a great way to thank a teacher who went over and beyond the call of duty.

Mojo Monday 91

I was anxious to try one of my new in colors from Stampin' Up:

soft suede. I cut the leaves on my own. I also used barely banana and kiwi kiss, basic black, and kraft with this. Not sure who makes the design paper. It's been in my stash quite some time.

I tired a new challenge today that I found over on Eat, Sleep, and Stamp. It had an easy sketch that was fun to work with and I created this design to fit it. I found this challenge by checking out the Daily Dare. Sometimes, I just need a challenge to get the mojo going.
