Retro Challenge #88

I made this card for the Retro Challenge that was a Anything Goes challenge. The main rule was to use stamps over 1 year old. Actually this hydrangea stamp is dated 2002. It is from Stampin' Up as is the sentiment stamp.  So you can tell by that one that I have been a serious stamper for close to 20 years. I sponged the color on with Distress Oxide inks. The butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch from a card front that was bleach stamped  for an earlier project and left in the scrap pile. Go check out the fun for yourself over at the Retro Challenge blogsite which can be found HERE.

I'm in awe of how long you've been stamping for - I have only been going a fraction of that time! Love the colouring of your flower in all those gorgeous purples. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge this week.

Very pretty card! Don't you love when scraps on the table are re-purposed for a new project? Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Rubber!
