CCEE1537

What a week it has been! On Tuesday night I was trying to load this card to the CCEE blog for this week's challenge, and the photos would not download. It turned out I had a virus and my laptop had to spend a few days with the Geek Squad. What great guys and after 3 days, I finally got my laptop back. Here is the card that I could not load earlier.

I did it using my MISTI using this silhouette stamp from SNSS. I inked it with green ink, stamped it, then inked it  by adding the turquoise ink in a striped fashion using the edge of the ink pad. I used those teardrop mini ones from Memento. Then I added some hot pink and this was the results.
Pretty easy and fun. I got inspired by Lydia's MISTI Marble technique on SCS but decided to do a direct from pad kind of application of the ink rather than the glove she used for the marbling effect. I couldn't find a rubber glove around my house, so the adaption was a necessity.

What a great idea! The MISTI makes all things possible! I love this fun marbled silhouette image!

Glad your computer is back up and running!
