The challenge was to use acetate. I cut this piece from a clear box I had. Then I placed it into an embossing folder and ran it through my cuttlebug. I used lilac paper behind it.  The image is a digital from Powerpoppy and the embossing folder is by Anna Griffin from Cuttlebug. To attach the acetate, I punched holes in it and tied it on with the ribbon. The white imaged panel is attached to the acetate. The lilac piece is the inside of the card. Come join in the fun here.

I wouldn't have thought of layering the embossed acetate straight over paper like that - I usually paint behind it to add colour. That looks like some amazingly rich damask.
