WT259
When I saw today's Ways to use challenge was lace, I thought of my new Flourish stampset immediately. I really had to work with it a while to get things going for this design, but I was pretty happy with the results. The pretty blue papers are from Mark's Finest Papers and so is that gorgeous blue ribbon. The lacey images were stamped in Paris Dusk memento ink. I used the Fleur de Lys Spellbinder and the scalloped oval nestabilities as the center focal point. I added a few pearls as the finishing touches.

Another Belli Challenge #85
Just a reminder for all you challenge fanatics, over on the Belli Challenge blog don't forget there is a prize being given this week by QKR Stampede for a shopping spree. Who doesn't like prizes and free gifts of your own chosing? Thanks so much to QRK Stampede for letting the DT for Belli Challenges select a few images to use for this challenge. I could not pass up this little laidback bunny!! He was just too adorable and thought he looked like one tired Easter Bunny the day after!!This card was also used for the Sketch Challenge this week over on Splitcoaststampers. Most of the papers I used for this card are from Mark's Finest Papers.

Color Dare Challenge #57
I am so looking forward to spring this year. Springtime in Texas is just one of our prettiest seasons. I love this stamp from Deadbeat Designs with some of Texas' best known cities and towns that I found in a great little stamp store in Salado, Texas a couple of years ago. I cuttlebugged the star background and I stamped the bluebonnet and Indian paintbrush with a retired Stampin' Up set that I adore.
I used markers to color the ink onto the rubber and used the fun "huff and puff" method (or that's what I call it). The leaves stamp is a Studio G stamp from Michael's great collection of $1 stamps a while back.
I hope you will join us in the Color Dare Challenge this week and add your link to Mr. Linky over on the color dare blog.
I look forward to seeing what you make these colors do for you. They are a great combination with all kinds of possibilities.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #27
I just love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I think it says so much about time passage from one generation to another. A grandmother and her grand daughter enjoying a happy time of sharing something they love. I made up the sentiment on my computer. The sense of family is certainly something that is nutured and taught from one generation to another. I think this sweet stamp just pictures this concept for me so well. I used my new Martha Stewart punch to make the frame and I added some primas and a brad in the bottom corner.
