Welcome to week two of our CCEE February challenges. Lynn, is again our hostess for this February challenge with a little Valentine fun. Way back in grade school, every Valentine’s Day remember the fun we had in using heart shapes in creating Valentine Critters to decorate our Valentine boxes. The task for today is to create an animal of any kind on your card in which you use heart shapes for some of its body parts.
We hope you will join us in this challenge and link your creation below. Should you post your design to another online gallery, please use keyword CCEE1606.
I made mine into a red crab which I designed after one I saw on Pinterest. I stamped the "love" and added the handwritten portion of my sentiment. The shell and pinchers are made from hearts. For the pinchers I cut the heart in half and overlapped the rounded parts to shape them like pinchers. The eyes are heart shaped brads with black centers I added with sharpie.
Hope you have a Happy Valentines Day on Sunday, and give someone a pinch of love!!
