CCEE1522
Joanne's challenges have been so fun this month and she has challenged us to make use of the many tools in the stamp room, some of which have had to be hunted down. This card was to make use of heat embossing, paper piecing, paper piercing, and some kind of framing. So, I dry embossed the white panel using a diffuser to leave a frame for my heat embossed sentiment. I also heat embossed my flower on a small gingham printed design paper, fussy cut it myself, and added the sequins and big gold dome. I die cut the red frame and the leaves. I am a horrible paper piercer, and the holes I punched on some parts above the sequins on the red frame do not show up so well in the photo, but I promise there are some there. LOL.
Joanne is a master of black and white cards, and often adds red in as a pop of color, so in honor of her and my own love of this color combo, I chose those colors for this card. Love ya' Joanne and continuing prayers for your back problems.

Well done, Liz....and the end results are fabulous. Love it.
Beautiful card
YEah, my fav combination too. That big frame reminds me of the Chippendale mirrors my grandfather made each one of us!!
I think you made two people happy with your color choice today, Liz! Good job with the fussy cutting on your flower.
Fabulous work with your embossed background and sentiment inside your gorgeous frame! What a beautiful card, Liz!
What a lovely feel this has - not quite rustic because it's too pretty, but the gingham and the red and white give it a real country charm. Love the little sequins on the flower and frame.
wow....so 'fancy'...love that frame and every detail.....you never fail to amaze
