OLC13

It is always fun to find a new challenge to do. This week thanks to Harriet Skelly, whom I follow on Pineterest, I saw this challenge for one layered cards called One Layered Simplicity Challenge. This week the challenge was to blend colors. I rubbed some various green inks from Momento  on an embossing folder. Then I spritzed it with water and smashed my paper in the folder. I stamped black trees on to the card, and with a round sponge I put yellow and blended orange ink for the sun. To bring a little life to the trees, I stamped some tiny Rubber Tapestry leaves on the branches.  The sentiment is from some retired Stampin' Up set.

Welcome to the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge, Liz! I hope you'll play frequently in the months to come. What a great card with fab attention to details...like the little leaves added! Thanks so much for playing!
