COF April Challenge
I'm a little late with this card, and not even for sure what the challenge is, but I think it is a Mother's Day card that is a 5 x 7 card. I used some great Basic Grey design paper on this peach colored cardstock, and stamped some images from Paper Trey Ink. The images stamped in Tuxedo black ink and colored with copic markers. The sentiment is from Flourishes. The diecut is from Spellbinders. I stamped an envelop to match.

Trying to get caught up on last week's challenges. This one is for the Flourish Timeless Tuesday Challenge from last week. It was a BINGO challenge. I actually made a cross pattern for my bingo pattern because I did flowers, ribbon, lace and pink and diecuts as well. I used left over cut paper for this card. I love it when I don't have to cut a new piece of paper for a card. Even the lace was a remnant froma previous project. The background lace stamp and the zinnias are both stamps by Flourishes. I colored the image with copic markers. The lace background was stamped with tuxedo black.
MOJO 239
This is for the Mojo Monday challenge today. All the stamps are from Verve and the design paper is from Basic Grey.
House Mouse tea challenge
I just love my little House Mouse collection of stamps. This is probably one of the first ones I ever bought and still remains as one of my favorites. I used some pretty Basic Grey design paper on this card and some of my Spellbinder diecuts. The sentiment is from a PTI set. This is for their current challenge going on here.

ODBDSLC106 and SSIC137
This is for two challenges. On the ODBDSLC challenge we were to not use design papers. I designed my own background by stamping with the two smaller Sweet William flower stamps from a ODBD set in old olive ink and garden green ink. I diecut the leaves and added primas and added paper punched centers and rhinestones. The senitment is from an ODBD stamp too. The challenge for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ this week was to use green or something about a garden. I thought the sentiment perfect and the greens worked too.

Queen for the Day - Holly McMillen
This is the way I always photograph my Queen for the Day cards on Splitcoaststampers. I pull up the inspiration card from the honoree's gallary on my computer screen and then take my picture of my card beside it. I was thrilled to see that we were honoring Holly (Toy) this week. She is such a faithful member of the Splitcoaststampers' community by providing challenges and in her encouraging words for others. I love taking part in her wonderful technique challenges any time I can!
I used a different stamp set than Holly did. In fact, I just got this in my recent order from Flourishes. I haven't gotten to spend much time in my stamproom since I got it and was thrilled to use it on this challenge. Congratulations, Queen Holly. You are most deserving of this honor!

Word Art Wednesday
I used my Rubber Tapestry Stamps for my challenge card today for Word Art Wednesday. I used various colors of Memento inks for my stamping. I added a purple organdy bow.
ODBDSLC105
The challenge this week was to GO GREEN. I decided to do that literally in color. I used some fabulous Basic Grey design papers and this pretty butterfly from ODBD. The sentiment is from another set from ODBD as well. I added some diecuts from my newest Spellbinder set and used some Martha Stewart flowers and leaf punches. Here lately, I have been working with more greens in my creations and I love the yellow and mustard with it. The kraft strip reminded me of recycled cardboard which also went along with this challenge.Although the photo doesn't pick up the glimmer on the butterfly wings, after coloring them with copic makers, I went over them with a sparkle gel pen.

MOJO #238
This is for the MOJO MOnday challenge. I loved the layout. I visited my scrap bins for this one. I got to use my new Spellbinder diecut I got last week on sale at Michael's. The stamps I used are from Verve. The tag has a rhinestone cross on it. It seems this week I have had to send out sympathy cards and praying for you cards. It's been a hard week for some of my colleagues and friends.

I love it when I find all the pieces I need for a card in my scrap bins. That was the case for this one. I used my new set from Flourishes, colored with my copic markers. The challenge for this week was POP with black. I used the black scalloped circle as a mat for the stamped image.
SSIC#136
The challenge for Stampin' Sisters in Christ this week is to use pastel colors. I just got this new set from Flourishes and thought it perfect for this challenge. I embossed the blush card base, punched the white with a Martha Stewart punch on both sides of the panel. The images are colored with copic markers. I embellished it with pearls.

Word Art Wednesday #24
I love this paper from Basic Grey and the scripture I copied from Word Art Wednesday, the leaves were stamped using an old SU sellabration set. The rose felt was diecut from a diecut I got aat MFT, as is the green diecut of leaves. I love sharing the scripture on my cards. Most of my cards are either sent to encourage others, or are sold for my prison ministry. I hope you find a way to bless others with your lovely creations.
FTTC165 and Belli 141
When it comes to picking a favorite stamp set from Flourishes, it really is too difficult to do because I love all of my Flourishes sets. But I do love silhouettes and these sweet silhouettes of children are so adorable. I stamped this in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto glossy white paper. I sponged on the colors for the setset behind the silhouette with various Memento inks. So I did this card for the FTTC challenge this week and the Belli challenge to use children. I got out some old big grommets to add to the card to make use of some items in my stash.

MOJO237
This was a great sketch for the MOJO Monday sketch. I used a piece of Basic Grey dp on rich razzleberry cardstock. The blush blossom was mounted onto black cardstock and I stamped Verve butterflies on the white circles. I found a scrap of striped dp to stamp the label. The mini flower punch is from Creative Memories.

Stampin Sisters in Christ #135
The challenge for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge today was to use something transparent.
I used vellum for the flower and the background. I embossed the vellum for the background. I stamped the vellum for the flower and diecut it with my spellbinder set. The stamp for the flowers is the Sweet Williams set from Our Daily Bread Designs. I also used a clear button for the center of the flower.

My roses are just loading every bush at my house. I have really enjoyed spring with all the rain we have gotten for these roses to flourish. I thought this lace challenge over at Flourishes was just the embellishment to go with these pretty roses from Flourishes. I embossed the pink pirouette cardstock with my cuttlebug folder and added the lace and bow with paper roses. Mother's Day is just around the corner and I think this will make a lovely card for Mom.
Word Art Wednesday #23
I used some stamps from Stampin' Up and some stamps from Our Daily Bread on this card. The scripture is the one on the Word Art Wednesday blog for this week. I embossed the artichoke panel and used various diecuts for this card.

MOJO 236
This card was made using the MOJO 236 sketch. The stamps are from Verve and the papers came out of my scrap pile at which point I haven't got a clue which company made them. This is one of my favorite scriptures and thought this sketch was a perfect one for this stamp. I don't use yellow all that often so I brought it in with the green.

OBDSLC103
Saturday my new stamps I ordered from Our Daily Bread arrived. I was so happy that they are now selling some of their beautiful crosses and verses as seperate or smaller stamp sets, making them fit my budget better. The challenge's theme this week is "New Life." Christ has given me a new life through Him. That is why I used this cross. I added the leaves and flowers because they represent the new life after winter. I used a white background for the washing away of sins that Christ's blood gave to us. I am so glad to serve a God who is a" God of do overs" and does not give up on us when we don't get it right the first time. His mercy is so great. No wonder we praise His holy name. Easter is the joyous celebration of the Resurrection, my new life in Christ.
The embossing folder is by Paper Studio and the leaf punch is from Martha Stewart. The flower punch is a mini punch from Creatve Memories. The border punch is Stampin' Up.

The theme for today's challenge for Stamping Sisters in Christ was to make a joyful card. This scripture from Neb. 8:10 is one of my favorites that speak of JOY. I used a variety of stamps from different companies on this card. The flourish stamp is from Stampin' Up, the cross from Sweet and Sassy and the scripture stamp is from Stampabilities. The pink flowers are punched using a Creative Memories mini flower punch. The cross embellishment on the stamped cross and rhinestones were added.

Faith Based Blog Group Challenge
I have spent the most incredible 4 days of my life, helping lead music with 2 other fabulous sisters in the Lord for Houston West Emmaus Community's Women's walk #66 with wonderful spirtual leaders and a team of fabulous Christian women who gave their all. It was so spirit filled and I now have 35 new sisters in Christ, who I loved on, laughed with, prayed over, and shared my faith with. God is so good. The Lord is indeed the light of the world for me,so this scripture is one of my favorites. I am late getting this made and posted by a few days, but I know you will show your mercy because I have been about doing the Lord's work. It has to be my first priority, of course. Bask in the light of the Lord and reflect on all He has done for you this Holy Week.
