Mo's Weekly challenge
I just love the adorable children images drawn by Mo Manning. The challenge today was "Sweetness". Any of her children's images' faces would qualify for that but I had this one with a cupcake. The image is colored with copic markers. The more I practice and the more I am inspired by other copic marker artists the better I seem to get. Practice makes perfect, but I still have a lot of practicing to do. I also used my copic markers to alter the color of my ivory ribbon, which is today's challenge for ways to use over on Splitcoasterstampers.
This card is for the birthday of a great niece. It seems like all of our little girls in the family are reaching teenage years, and I can't believe how quickly they have grown into beautiful young women. *sniff*sniff*

Faith is the substance
Well, it took me till Tuesday to get my mojo going for the Monday Mojo 201 challenge.LOL
All the stamps I used are from Verve, who hosts this challenge. I just love their scripture stamps.
I used black and white cardstock, along with some Paper Studio design papers and some Basic Grey design papers. This was the last piece of this ribbon on the roll. Fortunately, I have another roll of it. I just love how beautifully it ties and looks. I hope you are having a blessed week. I am reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan, and although it is very convicting, it is blessing me.

Speedy the Cat's weekly challenge
This week's Speedy the Cat's challenge is to use 3 hearts on your card. I love this camellia and added the embossing for the background and the diecuts along with the lace, hearts, and rhinestones. I used pretty in pink and the lighter pink is from Mark's Finest Papers.

CTD151 Rainbow colors
Being a part of Emmaus Weekends, anytime I think of a rainbow, I think of the rooster and the song De Colores that is associated with Walk to Emmaus weekends. I used my circle nestabilities to make my rainbow. I am not sure of the source of the rooster stamp as I have discarded the packaging putting my stamps into a plastic box. I didn't keep the name. It is a great set though that I found at Joann's.
So thanks Color Throw Down DT for selecting these great colors that God has given us.

I miss those summer peaches
I love checking by to see what the challenge is for the Crazy For Challenges every Saturday. I drive 3 hours one Saturday a month to a women's prison unit to do a prison ministry, and today was that day. I started out at about 4:00AM and I got home around 4 PM. So, I got a late start on my two favorite Saturday challenges today. My summer card for the C4C challenge features those wonderful summer peaches. I once lived in a community that was known for its fabulous peaches. I really miss those wonderful freestone peaches and those fabulous peach cobblers made with them. This adorable image is from Mo Manning and the papers are from Mark's Finest Papers and Paper Trey Ink. I used my copics to color this delightful image and I added white Galaxy pen dots on the spellbinder frame. Hope you are enjoying all the fresh fruits and berries of the season and staying cool inspite of the summer heat.

My KSS 10 minute card
I'm a day late with my Kitchen Sink 10 minute card, but here's what I came up with for it. I used up scraps from my pile and some of my new wide striped ribbon for it. I added the dots with a galaxy pen. I used sahara sand and soft suede for the multilayering on my dog.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #96
This week's challenge is a CAS card and the scripture used for this week is Psalm 46:10. The scripture stamp I used is from Sweet and Sassy, the adirondark set is a sneak peek at a soon to be released stamp from Mark's Finest Papers. I used a Martha Stewart punch and a SU oval punch for this card as well. The peaceful look of this scene seem to fit with this scripture for me. Finding those special quiet moments with God and enjoying God's creation all in one place makes some very quality time well spent. Have a blessed week.

Celebrate our Liberty!
This is for Speedy the Cat's challenge this week to do a patriotic card for the 4th. I know lots of people will be celebrating in their own backyards this year, and proudly flying their flags. One of the stamps I used for this card is a sneak peek at a new one from Mark's Finest Papers. I added the flag and sentiment using the American made set. It was a fun way to combine these two sets.
My transformation of my stamproom
I came up with a new way to do my spellbinder diecuts. This table is for
my paper cutting and embossing and my cuttlebug is on a rolling cart right behind this chair.

These are some pictures of my new and improved stamproom. I still have some stuff that needs to be organized, but so far this is what I have gotten done.
It's also a place for my little lizard collection!
